Flashback Clue Sharing and Multi-Person Invites

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

  • Sometimes I talk about clue things ICly in a flashback, but I cannot share clues via flashbacks!
  • If I want to invite multiple people to the same flashback, I have to do them one by one; I can't utilize a comma-separated list.

Describe the solution you'd like I'd love some sort of clue sharing method via flashback. This is tough, because the clue sharing code restricts people to sharing with charbits they're in the same room with. This makes sense for most instances! But then with flashbacks now, it's tough. I'm not sure if the best solution is additional commands such as flashback/clue <flashback ID>/<clue #>[,<clue2 #>...]=<target>[,<target2>...]/<note>, or maybe updating the base clue code itself to count those you're in a flashback with as fulfilling the "in the same room" requirements. The latter I could see being used not as intended, with people opening a flashback just to share clues remotely, but honestly at that point aren't you just going through the same amount of work as it would be to just get in the same room as someone for a drive-by share? Idk.

The second one is simpler. Plz just make the flashback invite command flashback/invite[/retro] <ID #>[=<player>, <player 2>, <player 3>...] and let us invite multiple people at once!

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • Just arranging OOC to get into a room together to do a clue share. Sometimes this is very difficult if I'm in a flashback with multiple people to share a clue with.
  • Inviting people ONE BY ONE, which is obviously doable but just an annoyance.
