You already know that, dingus!
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. One of the worst feelings you can have on Arx is when you help someone's investigation for several weeks only to find out it targeted a clue you already have. This doesn't feel awful because YOU already have it, it feels awful because you assumed the other party already had it, or you had forgotten you had it, or you just didn't think it was relevant; instead of having a fun scene where you share lore and redirect the investigation to something new, you just know you oops'd.
Describe the solution you'd like If your character or one of your retainers rolls on an investigation targeting a clue your character has, an inform is generated saying something along the lines of, "While helping (investigation owner) research (clue tag/clue tag and investigation number), you realize the trail leads to (clue name and number)".
This would give players working together a chance to have those "oh shit, hold on, let me drop an exposition bombshell" scenes. It would also give them the freedom to choose that, like if they're a spy or traitor maybe they're trying to keep track of what someone is learning, or have an IC reason to deter them from proceeding.
Describe alternatives you've considered This could be done in any number of ways tbh. Most people would probably prefer to get warned "hey, you already know this" ahead of time, like when they get invited to the investigation or view it, but I think that would be abused. Requiring a roll on the investigation prevents that and makes it more of an IC event IMO, and frankly if you've been on an investigation for a week when it pops, there's not a lot to complain about.
