Image Hello! I'm back again with more technical difficulties... sigh... I'm attempting to hook onto this VN I got on stream but during the process of hooking Image

it gets stuck on this part

@Meowple This game runs on the Artemis x64 engine. Please use Textractor x64.

Also, apply the texthook.dll update, which you can get from here: texthook_250913.7z

Is there a way to "craft" a hook code that only capture the content text, without the subject text (in this case "Gossip Girl A")? For a more accurate word count

@Svallinn try to use this H-code: HS65001#-24:-1C@195720:hatsuyuki.exe

@Chenx221 Thank you What's your method for figuring these things out? I'd like to figure these things out myself without having to rely on someone else. Then again, I do understand if it's essentially trying to actually teach someone how to look at a process' memory addresses and you can't be bother with such an in-depth explanation -_-' (just FYI, I do have a tech-related job, so I would understand the nuances much better than a "normie")

@Svallinn Actually, you need some reverse-engineering know-how and tools like dbg/ida to locate the right h-code. Different game engines do this in different ways, and it’s hard to explain briefly, so apologies — I’ll skip the full deep dive here...

For most users, try Textractor’s “Search for hooks” feature to scan for hooks; sometimes it’s just luck, and other times you’ll need a debugger to refine the hooks you find.

@Chenx221 I see, so you do make use of a bona fide debugger/dissassembler for this task. I did give Cheat Engine a whirl to no avail, probably it's a little too weak for this in-depth reverse engineering, not to mention I'm also a complete noob with this type of thing. I appreciate your response.
