Doesn't recognize address

I'm trying set up an ad but can't get it to recognize any addresses in our area. We are rural but can post Kijiji ads on the website no problem. Tried figuring out how to modify the yaml but haven't got the right info for that. Does anybody have some tips on how to figure out what our location info is and edit the yaml manually?

I'm always getting address is too vague errors when I enter my town or postal code.

It actually looks to me like the reason is that the OpenStreetMap search doesn't have proper addresses and cities for our area. We're in the Winnipeg area but about 40 or 50 kilometres from Winnipeg and all the addresses in our area show Winnipeg as the city on OpenStreetMap.
