Custom Background Image and Gear Icon conflict

When Enhance main window is open the gear icon customizability of Custom Background Image and Gear Icon add on is not able to modify the gear icon. I also messaged ankingmed about the issue and I hope that we can get the conflict resolved so I can use both of your awesome add ons simultaneously

I am effrayed that this won't be a priority for me at all, unless I'm hired to fix it. This add-on is too big, too complex, and I won't try to hack it for compatibility. I may consider merging a correction if it does not break anything else of course.

Any updates on this issue? I'm also running into this same problem. I use a dark background so it is hard to see the default gear image. Are there any workarounds to change the icon?
