closing find-and-replace tab

when I find in project, each time I click on one of the items, it opens a new tab. I edit some stuff, then when I reach my tab limit, it closes the find-and-replace dialog, even though the other tabs, even though I have edited things, they're not dirty because I've saved them.

how can I prevent zentabs from closing the search tab?
