When opening a link from a pinned tab, behaviour changes !
... the tab opens in foreground and no at the right place, when right clicking on a link (from within a pinned tab), "open link in new tab", or CTRL-Click on the link.
Thanks !
Hello @sgrienen, thanks for the feedback.
- "opens in foreground": opening a link from a pined tab opens it in the background. Only a new/empty tab is opened in the foreground
- "no at the right place": opening a link from a pined tab opens it after the last pined tab. This is not the case for you?
I am disturb because I cannot reproduce... Could you specify:
- the browser and its version
- the version of the extension?
Thank you.
@ArnaudLigny always a pleasure to report !
- I have several pinned tabs, my webmail client, as well as a RSS reader, when I right click on any link, "open link in new tab" it takes the focus and goes in foreground, always. As soon as I disable the extension, the behavior goes back to the origin. Actually the option within the extension could be great for some users I guess.
- Well ok, I mixed the expectations with other extensions, you're right it opens AFTER the pinned tabs, I was more expecting it to open somewhere else, you can forget this one... unless you plan to add some other features to your extensions, allowing to choose where to open the next tab (after the previous tab, at the end, at the beginning)... that's actually what I was looking for initially, but your extension was the only one really working the way I can work with.
Thanks a lot !
Ok, I'm able to reproduce: it seems it's only happens with the "not last" (pinned) tab. I will try to find the origin of the problem (certainly linked to a focus/active problem...)

I can reproduce also with any pinned tab... Forgot to mention that I'm using Windows 11 23H2, MS Edge 120.0.2210.121 and also vertical tabs !
OK, I think I found the origin of the problem (related to the scrollable tapstrip workaround) and I'm testing a fix for Edge vertical tabs bar, with pinned tabs. Stay tuned.
