Cannot Place items down

I can no longer place items such as fences, tents, barrels, etc regardless of where the item is placed. This has started ever since patch 1.14

I am experiencing the same issue, this was also an issue from what I know back in 1.11 and was fixed somehow in 1.12. I use this mod to make bases and see what works well before I do it on a server.
