Small UI error in Waterfox (Small buttons on navigation toolbar)
In Waterfox the arrows beside extensions are clinched if you select "Small buttons on navigation toolbar". In Basilisk it looks normal.
This is on Windows 8.1
Install CTR_v1.7.7.7.2test.xpi test build from here: https://github.com/Aris-t2/ClassicThemeRestorer/releases/tag/1.7.7.7
That did it.
OK then, next update will contain this fix. Note, CTR updates for Waterfox are only provided here on Github.
Is CTR not build into Waterfox? Can't remember if i did install CTR as extension.
But i guess when the Legacy Extensions Database is up then updates will come through Waterfox?
No, CTR was never build into Waterfox. There was a CTR fork called CyberCTR, which was part of Cyberfox.
The Legacy Extensions Database only contains files, that were distributed previously through AMO meaning the latest version in that data base is older than the version I provide here.
Autoupdates are also downloaded from here, if you previously have installed the "Github" version aka non-AMO version of CTR. This happens since CTR 1.7.4.
Oh i thought they will also add new extensions that are build for Waterfox to the DB and people can work on old ones if they have bugs :-(
if you previously have installed the "Github" version
What do i need to change to get updates if it was previously from AMO?

I doubt Waterfox team has time to check various support pages, web sites or forum to look for new add-on versions. Maybe one can contact them through their support channels about add-on updates.

Nothing, by installing the test build you switched to autoupdates from Github. Like I said all recent versions only point to Github, AMO is dead for that matter.
Look at the releases: https://github.com/Aris-t2/ClassicThemeRestorer/releases
CTR_vX.X.X.xpi points internally to a Github update url, so only browsers without add-on signing requirement will get updates automatically (like Waterfox or Basilisk for example)....
1.7.7.2 offered the last version for AMO and official Firefox, but you can see that in the changelog.
