Arachni 1.5.1 stalls on Debian 10

On a Debian 10 virtual machine Arachni 1.5.1 stalls on the following message:

BrowserCluster: Initializing 6 browsers...

If I break the scan (after some time - e.g. 5 minutes) the results are that nothing is scanned. Please, let me know what additional information to provide. I do not have such problem at all on Fedora and Slackware for example.
