turn off the options like "**" - "to bold", "+" - "to create subpage"

is there any options to turn off the options like making bold,italic and create subpage when i take notess it typically involves multiplication and addition operations and its always converted into these formats i checked the shortcuts and i couldn't find a function to turn it off is there anything to solve the issue
