[bug]: Shortcut Key Issue

Open qxxiao opened this issue 1 year ago • 5 comments

Description

The shortcut key triggering is not precise enough, and it may become unresponsive after not being used for a long time. Additionally, the shortcuts/timing for closing frequently fail. For example, pressing a non-modifier key can cause the shortcut to become invalid, preventing the window from automatically closing, which then has to be done manually.

Suggestion: The imprecision of the shortcut keys makes the software difficult to use. It would be better if users could customize the shortcut keys for enabling/disabling functions.

Hey qxxiao, Thanks for reporting the issue. I was unable to replicate it during my investigation. I've addressed a memory issue in the latest release, which should significantly improve app performance. Can you please check if you're still experiencing any issues with the latest version?

I've also noticed that in my setup pressing command key + (2x enter) makes the shortcuts appear. I don't know if it's related to the described bug neither if it's intermittent, but seems to be an inconsistence on the way it operates.

This is my configuration: image

Hey LeonardoRick,

Thank you for the details! Just to clarify, could you explain a bit more about how you’re pressing the keys? Are you pressing command key twice, or are you pressing command + enter twice? The shortcuts are designed to appear when command key is pressed twice and hold (according to your settings), so understanding exactly how you’re interacting with it will help me identify if there's a bug or any unexpected behavior. Also please provide which macOS you are using. Thanks for your help!

Which app are you using when this happens, and what is bound to the Cmd + Enter hotkey (if any)?
