This is a continuation of #467. Reorganized because of the mentioned modrinth publish of our itemless version.

tl;dr:

• Mangroves need a texture.
• The "load in with a blank atlas" bug still exists.

Our itemless fork and further reworks are up on github and modrinth (taking 0% cut to comply with the CC-NC art of course! :P)
