Issue aiming on diagonal using Power Function

Is there an existing issue for this?

  • [X] I searched the existing issues and did not find anything similar.

Current Behavior

I remember i posted a bug issue on AntiMicro without X github long ago, like in 2017 or so, i posted a thread with that when decreasing sensitivity of power function the not only deadzone rise, i also had difficulties when aiming on the diagonal - you had to make larger move to aim at diagonal, and i installed AntiMicroX after the years because i found DS4Windows mosue emulation feature very bad, especially at the centre making smallest moves possible it was so unprecise, in antimicro its better cos it has more precise setting of the deadzone.

Expected Behavior

When decreasing sensitivity of Power Function when emulating mouse on the any stick, when aim on diagonal i have to make larger move than aiming just on only X or only Y axis, also, when aiming at diagonal i have small difficulties thanks to that, it tends to make zig-zags when aiming on diagonal. I checked if the issue still persist since my post from 2017 on other github of the previous version of AntiMicro without X by decreasing the power function sensitivity to 0,001 from the curiosity, i was then completely unable to aim at diagonal just only in X or only in Y axis when with 0,001 sensitivity, but its not the point of this issue, i would like to aim at diagonal with the same speed as only in X or Y axis, i mean, the sensitivity map for Power Function would be not square-like but a circle.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Decrease sensitivity of Power Function to lets say, 0,500.
  2. Notice that when making diagonal move with stick you need to make larger move because sensitivity map is square not circle.

Environment

No response

Anything else?

I found an idea how to resolve that if i would be a programmer, just the code would analyse how far the axis indicator is from the centre, and just then the power function sensitivity correction could be applied, not by measuring separate X and Y axis because as i said, when aiming on diagonal you need to make larger move and when you decrease sensitivity to below 0,500 its quite hard to not make a zig-zags when aiming on diagonal.
