I'm basically a boomer right now and don't know how to leave a comment anywhere on GitHub except in the issues area and just wanted to say thank you for making this! I had a hacky version of this in Keyboard Maestro and this is much cleaner and more reliable it seems! Like you, I relied on the "visor" and missed it after SIP! Kudos! If I could buy you a coffee I would! 🙏
Thanks for the kind words! Funnily enough, for some reason I've missed this "issue" and just see it now 😅 I was wondering if some people were actually using FastFinder, glad to see there are at least a few 😃

Great to see the visor toggle from TotalFinder back! Although it seems to be a bit janky on Ventura and quite often causes Finder to hang requiring a force restart. Are you planning any updates?
@ianyoung Sad to hear that Ventura broke current implementation 😕 I haven't updated my Mac yet (I usually wait a few weeks/months after initial release before doing so), so I can't try for the moment. Once I am able to reproduce the issue I'll try to workaround it (given it's fixable).
I normally wait a while too. In this case it was only because I just bought a brand new Mac. I hadn't used FastFinder before to compare to difference well but it's certainly not as slick as the demo shows.
Great to hear it's still being developed. It's such a small but incredibly useful feature. My muscle memory for the TotalFinder shortcut is very much burned in and I'm constantly hitting the hotkey expecting Finder to show up. :/ If you can add dual pane as well you'd be on to a winner.
Oh ok so you mean the issue is the animation? I guess the animation became too glitchy starting from Monterey (or maybe even before). Personally I'm now using FastFinder with no animation. You should probably try this too. (Please open a separate issue if you want to talk more about this)
And a year and a bit later, and using Sonoma, I've needed to find a TF Visor equivalent too. Seems to be working fine. Thanks for making this. I'll add a couple of feature requests though just in case someone does have time to make improvements.
