Unable to resume playback after some time (from within the app)

Steps to reproduce

1. Start a podcast, doesn't matter if it is streamed or downloaded beforehand
2. Pause playing the podcast
3. Wait some time, could be a few minutes or more.
4. Resume playing. It can be done from within the app or from the notification drawer or from remote via bluetooth/smartwatch.

Expected behaviour

Antennapod resumes playing the podcast

Current behaviour

Paused playing doesn't resume. As you can see from the attached video the only way to resume playback is by tapping play on the same podcast in the queue list.

It might be related to #7265 or #7646 but it seems to me something different as the podcast doesn't resume regardless of the playback speed, if the podcast is being downloaded or streamed or if audio focus changes during the playback pause. It just happens randomly in a few minutes after having put on pause.

I had initially closed this as duplicate of #6576 as it's very similar. But I had noticed the other issue well before this issue (which I've also experienced).

Unpause via widget, smartwatch or Bluetooth controls is still an issue with 3.8.0-beta2.

This issue is a blocker, can't use antennapod proficiently. Hope that it will be solved soon.
