Problem you may be having, or feature you want
My workflow using AntennaPod is the following: Usually I use the subscriptions/podcasts view as an entry point in the app, from where I decide to which podcast I want to navigate and listen to (new) episodes. I sort my podcast subscriptions according to the count of played episodes, so in many cases, my favorite/most played podcasts appear in the top. If I don't listen to a podcast any longer, I move it to an "archived" tag.
However, often there are just a few podcasts at a time that I mainly listen to. I would like to see those at the top, without losing the ability to just scroll down in my list to see the other (currently less relevant) podcasts. What is "particularly relevant" to me can change pretty frequently, so I want an easy and fast way to (un)mark podcasts to show on the top.
Suggested solution
I suggest a "pinned podcasts" feature. In the context menu which appears after long-pressing a podcast, there should be an additional action "Pin Podcast"/"Unpin Podcast". So there's an easily accessible option to mark podcasts as pinned/favorites which always appear on the top. Those are visually marked e.g. with a small pin icon. This way, there's no need to use some workaround like introducing a "favorites" tag and without the need of leaving the main view to see those podcasts. The feature gives the flexibility to see all podcasts in the main view and allows the combination of automatical sorting AND some hand-picked pinned podcasts which always appear on the top. Pinned podcasts could not only be shown on top in the main view, but also in the folder views of individual tags (of course only if the pinned podcast is part of this tag view) - so the concept of pinning complements the concept of tags in a nice way.
