Brainstorming List of Enhancements
- [ ] Incorporate full range of IPv6 settings
- [x] Cron tab, e.g reboot and shut down and WiFi down / up times
- [ ] SpeedTest
- [ ] Dropdown of Public DNS servers
- [ ] Disable Fon and Telstra WiFi from broadcasting
- [x] Attached devices identified e.g. Vendor by MAC address (Fing implements it well)
- [x] Assign priority to some device
- [ ] Suggested password generator and strength meter
- [x] Https set as default to the router
- [x] Option to reset settings rather than factory reset
- [ ] Full set of VLAN settings
- [x] Manually change location of regulatory domain and tx power change
- [ ] Max allowable connections
- [ ] WiFi isolation
- [x] Donate button!
Some of these are good, others are hard to implement

@XiaopanOS can you elaborate some of this suggestion? like speedtest dropdown of public dns
About fon and telstra you should report them as it's not standard....
Vendor mac could be done but adds some space if the helper is too big
password generator could be added and strenght meter is already there
@XiaopanOS maybe you can solve the 2.4GHz wifi band problem since it is always limited to 65mb? it would be great to have 300mb wifi without bandwidth limitation?
@ghost9090 Just change /etc/wireless-2g.acs (or something similar)

@XiaopanOS Run:
/etc/init.d/hotspotd stop
/etc/init.d/hotspotd disable
Will add this to rootdevice
@Ansuel Don't know if I'm in the right place to ask but, Is it possible to add some sort of legend in xdsl graph and in qos settings? Thankyou
About the https as default I wonder if we should do it as a permanent redirect from port 80 to port 443 or port 8443 for ssl or we just take out port 80 from the nginx.conf file? Or do it another way.
Would it be possibile to add a tab to configure buttons behavior? Where you can chose a presetted config (like wifi on/off, info button, wps...) or configuring it on your own
@lorenzo when I get home I will look at that

It has been more than 2 weeks now.
Well if you want the feature so badly, why not do it yourself?!
I have a list to do, modals aren’t high on the list!

I'm thinking possibly a GUI interface for managing block lists and white lists similar to Pi-hole? Or adding it as another extension if possible.
Thanks for all your hard work :)
I'd love to be able to configure my PIA VPN via the router.

I think that it's possible to use zxcvbn Is pretty simple and it give a lot of info
With 180a2244a132441febb8d1ff3c7d78c4775c02b3 the modem can now convert the Mac address to the vendor to make the client more identifiable
With 180a224 the modem can now convert the Mac address to the vendor to make the client more identifiable
would be great if the mac addresses we encounter are cached and loaded from a file so it doesn't make requests every time it loads the card
Edit; also it seems broken now, resolves only 1 query then all subsequent vendors are the same as 1st. It says Microsoft for everyone to me
Can we add more firewall settings for lan devices? Example: Address from: 192.168.1.0/24 Address to: 192.168.1.80 Protocol: tcp Port from: all Port to: 8080 Rule: Allow

I agree. The ability to connect to a VPN provider (like NordVPN) it's one of the most important feature for me.
Graphs for xDSL sync speed over a 12-24hr period. Although this should be mostly a static value for most, some times it isnt and would be good to be able to provide this kind of data to an ISP when something isnt right.
mwan configuration would be awesome! its in there, and would love to be able to make use of it, as opposed to wansensing script. Eg Load balancing between the main connection and 4G. When the main goes down, theres no down time.
Is there something specific to change in there?

Just asking again my question

I even forgot about this request, but it would be nice

OpenWrt 18+ dropped udev in favor of hotplug
I wonder what would you have such buttons do , besides their default associations ?
Change CPU usage as overall % and get RAM Usage/ Free RAM under it.

Another suggestion so i don't spam with different issues, i recommend you if you change from DoNotDisturb into DnD mode so it doesn't break the card.
After you open the card the full name will be shown anyways so people will know what this setting is about.

Also put some spacing.

Be able to delete devices/old devices from device list

Add more options such as, TV Box, Mobile Phone, instead of DesktopComputer>>PC, Powerline, WiFi Repeater, IPTV, Smart TV. IP Camera etc.

Color Palette for custom colors?
