Why not add a display of the quality of the picked up item/fish?

Can you elaborate? Quality is already indicated by the colored stars.

But stars are already implemented as part of the main game, not through mods.

When picking up items, I do not see their quality without mods.

the pop-up in the bottom left when you pick something up does not show quality stars is the issue here if im understanding right
