Why is the accuracy of CIFAR10 below 90%, how can i improve it?

The SOTA accuracy of CIFAR10 now is reatching 98%, i tried to improve the accuracy but still about 90%, has anyone got better results?

The default search space is designed for ImageNet which 1st conv stride set to 2. however cifar10 image's size is 32*32. try to set stride to 1 in the first few convs and research it. I am testing for it.
