certificate error

when I tried to run project with my vpn server address i got certificate error

POST https://vpn.example.com/ Attempting to connect to server ip.address:443 SSL negotiation with vpn.example.com Server certificate verify failed: self signed certificate in certificate chain

where can i make changes to certificate in the project? (sorry, i don't know much about xcode programming)
