How to remove stationary background plasma electrons
Could you please advise on how to eliminate stationary background plasma electrons in the process of creating plots, while exclusively preserving those electrons that contribute to the formation of the bubble structure, as exemplified by the image showcased on the HiPACE homepage https://hipace.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html?
Hi @HLQzZ, sorry for the late reply, I was out of office the last days.
Achieving what you want involves tuning the opacity of the charge density field to make the background density transparent. Using the UI, you can achieve this by lowering the opacity to 0 of the density value corresponding to the background (typically, the most common value). See an example below:
