v2.4.5 has bugs on windows/linux we didn't catch prior to deployment. These are being actively addressed. Bare with us for an hour or two :)
We would need some heavy testing to make these the defaults. Ideally, we should be sending per model defaults by specifying them in the [models.json](https://github.com/nomic-ai/gpt4all/blob/main/gpt4all-chat/metadata/models.json) file.
i won't get back to dev'ing on this for a day or two, my m2 mac is giving me a hassle so need to move over to a linux machine
