Youtube on AA widescreen

My Mazda infotainment system is nontouch and has a 480x800 resolution. I can use fermata auto playing Youtube video with no issue as I can control the cursor via the built-in cursor. I can pause and unpause a video.

However, if I change Android Auto dpi to a widescreen mode 1280x780, I cannot pause a video (as the play button no longer appears/functions) anymore once I pause a video.
