Won't let me open apps

I downloaded all them .Deb files and wine is successfully accessible In my terminal. BUT when I try to run an app for example: "wine BlahBlahBlah.exe", Im greeted with the lovely; "0134:err:winediag:nodrv_CreateWindow Application tried to create a window, but no driver could be loaded." now I could just be a complete dipshit and am clearly missing a very important thing that would help this error NOT trigger, but it would be great to have help either way. (Also, I'm new to all this Linux stuff so don't expect me to know much.)

That normally means the X11 or Wayland driver isn't able to connect to its server. Which one do you use?

unless Im not mistaken, I think I'm using Wayland. @AndreRH
