In https://github.com/AndersBillLinden/ModelCreator/tree/debug-renderer, I have created a branch that outputs the "renderer" string in the titlebar for you to see what it would output.

Could it possibly be that you are using the software renderer?

I may also add that the problem shows in at least windows 64-bit by only starting the application, closing the welcome screen and closing the application window with the X.

Maybe the Display does not need to be destroyed in that handler...

When does it crash? How does it crash?

And this is significant to running model creator?

What I wonder is if other applications runs problem free on the computer.
