I see you do even get the splash (welcome dialog). Do you have trouble closing the application as well?

I got the same symptoms now when I tried for a lot of times. Then the problems dissapeared and now, I can always run it.

Those classes should be present, there is nothing wrong with Camera.java. Java 8 is the current version.

What is the system wide environment variable JAVA_HOME set to?

This is how I tried to produce an error, from an empty project, creating a cube, go to the "faces" tab, click "Image", click "import", navigate to water_still.png, click "open"....

I used mc-pre4.exe when testing.
