nested files

hey @Andarist do you have a sense of what it would take to add support for nested file structures? is it fairly straightforward but not done, or is there is a technical challenge that's not super obvious?

Also thanks gain for putting this together, we get a TON of use out of it

It shouldn't be that hard to add support for this - I just have never got to it. I'm afraid I won't be able to work on this one in the near future as my OSS backlog is only growing lately due to lack of time and I'm focusing on other stuff.

However, I'm happy to brainstorm on how this should work, reviewing the code, etc if you'd like to pick it up.
