Landscape issues

Open easyaspi314 opened this issue 11 years ago • 3 comments

When started in landscape in phone mode, the urlbar is displayed cut off on the bottom even in portrait because it is the same height as the stock action bar. It only happens when the app is started in landscape. The only known fix that I know of is to swipe Tint away from the stock multitasking bar.

Could you please post a screenshot and give details on which Android ROM you are using? Works without problems on CyanogenMod 10.1.3 / Android 4.2.2

I have tested this on all my devices. They all had weird ratios. This has occurred on my Trio Stealth Lite (generic 4.3" MP3 tablet at Kmart). It is pre rooted no custom ROM with ICS 4.0.4. It is 480x272 120 DPI with the tablet bar on the bottom. I bricked it with the charging port. ZTE Valet, 4.1.1 unmodified original stockish "Mifavor" rom. 3.5" 320x480 160 build.prop dpi (3:2) I had to send it back. My current LG Optimus Dynamic II, 4.1.2 unmodified LG themed ROM. This is a 3.8" screen with the same 320x480 resolution, 160 build.prop dpi. The screenshots are from this device.

Tint appears to make the toolbar the same height as the blank startup title action bar when it is started from a clean process, or from a swipe-away in multitasking. (not switched to). It remains even when you rotate it to portrait in the app. Also when the issue is not in effect, the toolbar is normal . Since Android shortens the action bar in landscape, this creates an issue.

The screenshots show the issue. On Mar 7, 2014 5:57 AM, "gravgun" [email protected] wrote:

The screenshots show the issue.

I don't see the screenshots anywhere... If you tried to send the screenshots as mail attachement with your reply, it doesn't work. Use an image host instead.
