Can you work on this?

You could Use Kivi Browser and Install the Chrome Extension in it.
Perhaps working with YouTube Vanced is an option?
The extension sponsor block is integrated into vanced. Maybe it's possible to integrate this too.
Perhaps working with YouTube Vanced is an option?
Vanced is already looking into using us as an option.

Or use iceraven with the UserScript

OK?
It half works on Firefox Android Nightly. The dislike count will show at first, but it will say "Dislike" again after it is un-paused
I doubt it working with android browsers since only a few do support actually addons and even there who the heck watches YouTube onto a browser on mobile? The idea of integrating it into Vanced tough is pretty good, perhaps with enough time that can be done.
I'm one of the few who use Youtube on their phone's browser, mostly so I have access to extensions like this one. With Firefox Nightly, the extension works fine on the desktop site, but not the mobile site (m.youtube.com). The userscript, on the other hand, appears to work flawlessly. Tampermonkey is not compatible with Firefox Nightly, but Violentmonkey thankfully is, so Android users should just use that for the time being. EDIT: I spoke too soon. The userscript has some issues. The dislike count often flickers back to the DISLIKE text, for example.

You do know the existance of Youtube Vanced?
I wouldn't trust Vanced tho.

It's pretty trustworthy, there is little to no reason not to use it over default. If anything I'd say it's more trustworthy than youtube itself lol
I didn't know. I don't feel the need to install an app just for Youtube though, even less so if it doesn't have support for dislikes. This does and the occasional flickering is barely an issue.
Vanced is looking to implement our solution. I really suggest you install that app since it's awesome and youtube on browser for mobile isn't really great imo.
I tried to install the extension on Firefox Mobile, but apperently the mobile extension store on Firefox is separate from the desktop one? Can you please add the extension to Firefox Mobile?

@kwinz it has to be Firefox nightly to install desktop extensions, as it has not yet been officially added to firefox mobile and does not fully work yet (it only displays the dislikes if the video hasn't started playing yet) .
Here is a video of how to do it
Here is the collection I already made that includes return Youtube dislikes
Collection owners id for my collection: 16695959
Collection name: returndislikes
If you would like to add return youtube dislikes on Firefox nighty, but don't want to create your own collection, where I have added all the default addons back, and the return youtube dislikes, you can follow the following instructions:
- make sure you're using Firefox nightly (not just plain Firefox)
- go into settings by clicking the three dots at the bottom right
- scroll down to the bottom and click
about Firefox nightly
- Click the Firefox logo three times/until a message pops up saying the developer menu has been enabled
- go back to the main menu/settings
- scroll back up to add-ons, a new option,
Custom add_on collection
should have appeared - Click on
Custom add_on collection
- if you're using my pre-existing collection, enter in collection owner:
16695959
and in collection name:returndislikes
- Press OK
- Firefox should restart
- go back into settings, and open the
add-ons
page - scroll until you see the return youtube dislikes extension
- Click the plus next to the return youtube dislikes extension
- press add
I would just like to once again mention that currently, it only seems to display the dislike counter before the video has played, I have created an issue for this, but I haven't seen any responses yet #309

It seems to work a bit better now on Firefox Android. However, it mostly doesn't show the dislike count unless you refresh the page
I also would like to use this extension on firefox android. I use Firefox (Android) to watch youtube on my phone because it's allow to use extension like UBlock Origin.
Firefox for android has opened up the addon store(https://addons.mozilla.org/android/) for any extension to mark itself as compatible to become available to firefox on android users. This is on every release including the regular stable firefox on android. But the addon doesn't work on the mobile youtube UI currently as reported for firefox for android here: https://github.com/Anarios/return-youtube-dislike/issues/887 And reported for kiwi(chromium android with desktop extension support ported) browser here: https://github.com/Anarios/return-youtube-dislike/issues/956
Also since this thread still references youtube Vanced. Vanced has since been discontinued/shut down by google as distributing apks containing code they don't own(google's code/app) is illegal. In it's place came ReVanced(https://revanced.app/), an open source project made by a dev team that has nothing to do with the original Vanced. ReVanced provides a patcher and patches. You have to bring your own apk and use the patcher to patch it. This completely avoids the issue of illegaly distributing patched apks. ReVanced integrates Return YouTube Dislike. The only downside is that it requires android 8+ as it needs the new youtube app which only supports android 8+. Luckily for users with older android devices Firefox for android supports android 5+ with no plans on changing that. So it would be useful if the addon version or the userscript version were to support and maintain support for Firefox for android officially. For kiwi browser users out there, be aware that google has dropped support for chrome on android 7 and below, so most likely you will soon require android 8+.
Also pinging @Anarios since this issue is very old so I don't know if it'll reach you. I wrote two messages right above this one about some changes to the situation with firefox for android and revanced as neither are listed on your website and the firefox addon hasn't been marked compatible(doesn't work rn with mobile UI though)with android. The docs only refer to the nightly method for firefox android which is no longer required if a switch is flipped on your side. So I guess you may not have heard of these changes. I apologize if you already know about these changes and this message is just an annoyance. I also apologize in advance if I'm not supposed to be pinging you.
@TheW0LVERIN3 thanks for the ping, I will look into it.
@Anarios Any update on mobile YouTube UI support? And consequently any updates on android browser support through Firefox android(or kiwi browser and a couple others)?
