After buying Elder Pledge, Grandmapocalypse comes back after performing another action

Once I buy Elder Pledge, any action I took afterwards causes the game to go back into Grandmapocalypse mode and the Elder Pledge upgrade comes back. This includes, so far, clicking a golden cookie/heart and buying a building.

I just wanted to update this. It seems that every couple golden cookies/hearts that I click (might just be hearts, not sure) it seems to throw me out of and back into the Grandmapocalypse again immediately destroying all the wrinklers and such.

Not sure if this is a separate issue, but it seems closely related.

The Wrinkler pops seem to be related to changes in (unwithered) CpS. Buying a building, getting Clot, and getting Elder Frenzy all caused Wrinklers to pop while Ruin, Clicking Frenzy, and Cookie Chain did not.
