[Feature Request] Save HTTP Response Body

Open aphilas opened this issue 9 months ago • 2 comments

If I run http requests in a notebook and hit save, the response headers are saved but the response body is not.

For example:

GET https://httpbin.org/get

###
POST https://httpbin.org/post
Content-Type: application/json
{
  "name": "John Doe",
  "age": 30
}

After "Run All" and then hitting save I get:

GET https://httpbin.org/get

HTTP/1.1 200  - OK
date: Mon, 07 Apr 2025 19:30:12 GMT
content-type: application/json
content-length: 298
connection: close
server: gunicorn/19.9.0
access-control-allow-origin: *
access-control-allow-credentials: true
###
POST https://httpbin.org/post
Content-Type: application/json
{
  "name": "John Doe",
  "age": 30
}

HTTP/1.1 200  - OK
date: Mon, 07 Apr 2025 19:30:23 GMT
content-type: application/json
content-length: 518
connection: close
server: gunicorn/19.9.0
access-control-allow-origin: *
access-control-allow-credentials: true

Saving the responses is essential for documentation purposes.
