Coordinate 'discs'
No doubt inspired by 'Blink' (season 3), someone suggested that I could have some sort of disc thing to share coordinates.
It was also suggested that the server could lock down all tardises into 'coordinate mode' where they could only teleport to coordinates on coordinate discs. Not sure about that bit.
You could have a disc that homes in on the owner so that if someone finds and puts it in, it goes back to the owner of the tardis?
Rather than disks, this could be like 'The Time of the Doctor' where Clara inserted something into the sonic's slot that took her home.
Too big.
But possible to accept serveral types could be interesting.
I still think this would be a fun and relatively easy way to share coordinates.
The way I see this working is that you can spawn a coordinate disc inside the TARDIS and use the locations UI to search for and read/write coordinates to the disc, maybe a drop down if multiple discs are detected.
