[Feature Request] option or a pop up box to advise chunk selections remain when changing dimension

The Problem
I selected the end island and chose to delete all other chunks, then i changed to the overworld to remove a select few chunks there. I did not realise the original selection remained - and only now found how to deselect in the controls list. So I accidentally removed a major build at the world 0,0 in overworld and did not realise until today when i tried to go to the location to collect some items i left there. I am going to paste it back in from a backup - but it is an unexpected pain.
Feature Description
Pop up warning about the behaviour with a don't show again perhaps. eg. Amulet retains selected chunks when switching between dimensions, any changes applied will be applied to the current dimension when applying changes.
Alternatives
an option that says to keep chunk selections when changing dimensions and it to default to off.

just suggesting something to help noobs like myself avoid deleting a whole bunch of chunks they really didnt want to
