[Feature] Choose Date Format

Is there an existing issue for this feature?

Feature Description

Before, preview's version, we have option to choose date format. It's very good and important.

Now you have the freedom the enter whatever format, and however you'd like. Isn't that better for the end-user experience?

@AmruthPillai I think this should be an option, either globally or per cv to select how to handle dates. I did prefer the v3 version of handling dates as it made it clear and would be consistent through out the cv. However I can see the benefits of having a free text format which is useful but would love it if it was optional
