Is this on the roadmap, or could it be? Would be very useful to use with a gpio relay setup for actuating systems in cars, opening up a large number of use cases.

Hi, there is currently no roadmap. The app was developed to "scratch my own itch". But this is actually a a nice idea, I will think about it. Meanwhile, you are free to create a pull request!
