f3probe file redirection issue

Hi, I have a very dummy problem (tested on v8.0):

f3probe --time-ops /dev/sda > result.out & tail -f result.out

result.out is empty ...

I tried redirecting 2>&1 and tried using script, but the file is always empty. ...

Any help here ? Thanks in advance.
