As a user, I wish to see only relevant, well-written news on the front page of Studio
Description
What and why?
I have observed that news on the front page don´t have an expiration date. They are not dated either, so there is noe way for the end-user to know wether this is current news or not. If you scroll, you find very old news items there.
A related issue we can address at the same time, is the way we write snippets of news on the front page.
Suggested solution
- Implement dated news snippets on the front page and give them an expiration date that we agree on. After that, end-user should consult release notes/documentation to see whats new.
- Limit the number of news items in the given time period a piece of news is considered "current" to for example 3. UX: Maybe redesign to use cards here?
- Link to "more about"-documentation, if relevant.
- Clean up the current news stream that is there, and keep what´s still current and archive non-current.
- Create a quick win course for the team in how to write news teasers and following AIDA principles, stored in a common place where they ca consult it as needed.

Tasks
- Implement dated news snippets (meaning: the publishing date is displayed on the news item).
- Give each news item an expiration date.
- Limit the number of news items shown on the page, in the given time period?
- Link to "more about"-documentation for each remaining new item, if relevant.
- Clean up the current news stream, archive non-current.
- Create the quick win-course and place it in a common area (Teams?). Introduce it in a meeting if necessary.
Acceptance Criterias
- News are always shown with their date created/published and they expire after x number of weeks.
- The number of news items shown is limited to x (3?), to avoid scrolling or we implement a new design with cards. (- Each new item is written according to relevant writing principles for news.)
