Old cluster keeps re-appearing

I initially set up a cluster of 3 shards. Then I deleted the sts manually and applied another template (2 shards).

Now the initial cluster (3 shards) keeps re-appearing. How do i stop this from happening?

You can't manage the cluster in that way, just scale it from ClickHouseInstallation custom resource
