Fix email `sendVerificationRequest` error

I was following the course and here the email service was throwing this error: error - unhandledRejection: Error: 4618954240:error:1408F10B:SSL routines:ssl3_get_record:wrong version number:../deps/openssl/openssl/ssl/record/ssl3_record.c:332:

After digging into it seems that was because it was expecting a promise/async/away function
