Bar and dashboard configs not working!

For some reason the bar stays in default style and dashboard doesn't appear when I use the specified keybinding, I'm on an arch based system, Installed awesome-git, and the other dependencies listed on ur github page except hilbish shell, I'm using zsh. I have no idea why awsome is not reading the configs for the bar and other things like dashboard. Can you please provide some assistance?

Hello! That behavior might be because something is crashing inside the configuration, maybe some program isn't installed or something like that. When AwesomeWM cannot load the configuration, it abort the configuration loading, and start the default configuration loading, so this is what could be happening rn.

Can you provide a screenshot to check that, Please?

Also, can you check the AwesomeWM logs to get an idea on what could be happening, if you're using startx you can try to redirect the stderr and stdout of awesome/startx to a common file, and check the content of that file; Then, there should be some idea on what's happening
