Feature Request - Additional Profile Fields

I think that the existing profiles are limiting for someone looking for a deeper and long-term relationship. There is not enough room in the main profile to really say anything about one's self, views, etc. Examples include

  • Interested in having kids (or more kids if someone already has one from a previous relationship)
    • Note: This could be a checkbox with the label/value "Wants Kids"
  • Political Views
    • For the love of all that is good in the world do NOT make this a drop-down just saying Right/Left or Democrat/Republican. Text field.
  • Where did you grow up
    • A text field to list the city/state where a person grew up in. (As opposed to where they are now)
  • Dietary Preference
    • Drop-Down List
  • -- None
  • -- Gluten Free
  • -- Vegetarian
  • -- Vegan
  • Religion
    • This should be a small text field as sometimes people have more complex views
  • Open to Relocation
    • Checkbox - Am I open to moving if I want to make a long-term commitment
  • Open to Long Distance
    • Checkbox - Willing to be in a long-distance relationship
  • Social/Web Addresses
    • Do not require these fields but give people the ability to put in their
  • -- Facebook
  • -- Twitter
  • -- Instagram
  • -- Federated Social ID
  • -- Website
  • -- LinkedIn
  • -- etc
  • -- You could allow the user to have two text fields, one for the network name and another for the URL/Handle
  • Pets
    • Enable a user to list existing pets and/or a desire to have pets
  • Maybe create several fun questions for people to answer in their profiles to say more about them and aid in matching
    • Where would you like to live? IE, City, Country, mountain view, etc
    • Favorite kind of food.
    • What kinds of bands/music does the person like?
    • What kinds of movies/tv shows does the person like?
    • Where would the person go if given a "blank check" or unlimited money for a trip?

I know some of these would be harder to implement than others, but I think it is important for someone seeking a longer-term commitment kind of relationship. A picture and 250 characters plus a few tags for hobbies or interests is not enough.
