ESDE Installation failed

I followed your guide to swap out the ES files to upgrade to v3.0, using the Emudeck file structure, but based on the readme, it seems to have damaged the installation and when I try to install via emudeck, it keeps saying "ESDE installation failed" and it will not start via steam. I've tried Uninstalling and re installing emudeck, but it still won't work.

... also, this is the Legion Go version of emudeck.

I know what you mean. I just got the update notification and I thought it was going to be an easy update process, but no. I just don't think I will be updating at all. If it's a required update then I will look at other emulators that others are talking about or I will just install the emulators directly.

This is not the right place for ES-DE, you need to go to gitlab. Here it's the original EmulationStation.
