AlmaLinux WSL Enhancements/proposals

Converting this issue into a high-level tracker for Almalinux WSL feature enhancements like Implementation of MOTD (Message of the day), adding quick scripts, documentation, and more. This can be implemented as multiple small features rolled into one big script.

• [x] Print banner and system information on initial login and user setup - wiring of print-sys-info script
• [x] Detect and find any potential WSL image updates and their packages. Print summary like No new updates found, system up-to-date or xx number of packages found, please run sudo dnf update. This can be used during the initial WSL post-install or as needed.
• [ ] Create WSL install and use documentation in the wiki, show documentation link.
• [ ] Show MOTD, only once on a given day. If WSL opened on the same day, mute it.
• [ ] User should have to ability to mute daily messages. When MOTD is muted check for package updates once in 15 days and display a warning as needed.
• [ ] Since Almalinux WSL is an app installable from Microsoft AppStore, it can be used as a gateway for Windows users to explore the world of Linux without even owning a separate system or VM. User guides specific to standard use, developers, and administrators will be a great addition.
