Add a method to roll back to CentOS 8

Open jaboutboul opened this issue 4 years ago • 2 comments

Some users may require the ability to revert back to CentOS 8 as other software they want to install will fail on OS detection. We should give users the ability to roll back if they need it. User choice is very important.

The best way to roll back is to make VM snapshot before migration. It'll be much better than any script. Third-party software should be tested for AlmaLinux for compatibility in a sandbox.

we do have a rollback process for CloudLinux OS deploy script. Why not do the same for alma?
