Corrupted Database

Open smaragdus opened this issue 5 years ago • 1 comments

Yesterday Windows (8) crashed and as a result it seems that the database file (db.bin) Track Your Time uses got corrupted so when I start the program it crashes, screen:

Track Your Time 0 9 2 1 - 2020-01-24 - error - 001

I had to delete the database file (db.bin) in order to make the program work again. So I lost a database accumulated for more than 2 years (it was created on 2017-12-08). I looked into the backup folder but it turned out to be empty.

I wonder- is there a way to repair this corrupted database file (db.bin)? If needed I can upload it.

I am using Track Your Time version 0.9.2.1 on Windows 8 x64 in portable mode.

I will appreciate very much any kind of help.

I spend some time to discover db.bin structure. If you send me your file i'll try to recover it.
