Can't download more than 8-12 songs from Spotify playlists

OS: Windows 10 AlltoMP3: V0.3.11 (Latest from the site) Example playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5jHtuVvEdz8djokbpXFL8r?si=VLxH544_QSm476x2b1lr2Q

Issue description:

First of all, thank you very much for taking the time to create this application, its extremely useful. (When its working. :D)

When I attempt to download any playlists on Spotify, alltomp3 stops working at around 8-12 songs in. It never seems to make it past this point. I've tried to cancel and restart the download and it stops in the same place.

I've tested this on 2 laptops, both with the latest updated Windows 10, both using the latest version of alltomp3 downloaded from your website. Both instances things stop working between 8 and 12 songs into the download. I thought perhaps it was an issue with the connection so I switched over to wired from wifi but its not resolved any issues.

Do you have any tips or suggestions for how I might go about fixing this issue?

Win 10 Pro 10.0.18362.10024 (KB4508451) Latest AllToMP3 (downloaded last night for the first time)

I am having a similar issue. My playlist only downloads 9 songs (the same 9 songs every time). I've tried deleting the directory and re-running, changing the directory location and running as admin.

I was currently trying to replicate N4choLibre's issue with the provided playlist.

Edit 2 hrs later: 18/39 for N4cho's playlist, still 9/69 for mine. They have both been running for a couple hours as well, not sure what the expected performance should be. Edit 10 hrs later: 20/39 For N4cho's playlist ,still 9/69 for me.

If this app works for Spotfiy and YouTube playlists, I will donate. I will also consider hopping in the project after i get back from my trip.

Same here. I have the latest versions on everything in Win 10. Never completed a Spotify-playlist download. Sometimes 20 of 120 songs or 30 of 50 songs and so on... Tried with both popular songs and some odd music. All of the missing songs exists at YT.

Is there any settings for this? Something I can do to make it work better?

My temporary solution:

  1. Create a new playlist
  2. Delete the songs that I managed to download before stop #1
  3. Add remaing playlist to start a new download
  4. Repeat until the whole playlist is downloaded

Far from automagical :)

I'm pretty sure this has the same cause as described here.
