[Bug]: Entering `tab` into the bash command line screws it up

Describe the bug and reproduction steps

In the bash command line, press the tab key, write some text, then press backspace to erase, the command line get messed up.

Press enter to send the command and you will see what get sent is a broken command.

Suggested fix: since there's no interactive tab bash completion hooked into the UI, just swallow tab keys and turn them into a single space key, or swallow completely
