[Bug]: requests.exceptions.ConnectionError:

Is there an existing issue for the same bug?

Describe the bug and reproduction steps

Followed these steps provided in the docs

export WORKSPACE_BASE=$(pwd)/workspace

docker pull ghcr.io/all-hands-ai/runtime:0.11-nikolaik

docker run -it --pull=always \
    -e SANDBOX_RUNTIME_CONTAINER_IMAGE=ghcr.io/all-hands-ai/runtime:0.11-nikolaik \
    -e SANDBOX_USER_ID=$(id -u) \
    -e WORKSPACE_MOUNT_PATH=$WORKSPACE_BASE \
    -v $WORKSPACE_BASE:/opt/workspace_base \
    -v /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock \
    -p 3000:3000 \
    --add-host host.docker.internal:host-gateway \
    --name openhands-app-$(date +%Y%m%d%H%M%S) \
    ghcr.io/all-hands-ai/openhands:0.11

then went to localhost:3000 provided the apikey for chatgpt model and after that it stucks on Waiting for client to become ready...

checked the logs in the terminal found this printed on the terminal

Hey! I had the same issue, opening ports using ufw for the Docker network bridge seems to fix the issue, although does open a small security risk if a malicious docker container runs on those ports to access host machine.

E.g

sudo ufw allow from 172.17.0.0/16 to any
sudo ufw allow 30000:40000/tcp

Hmmmm these are weird errors. Hopefully someone can take a look at this if possible. The one thing I would check is if the docker desktop has a "Enable host networking", make sure it is enabled.

Got the same error running OpenHands 0.14 on a Linux server. Seems to have been fixed by adding --network=host to the docker run command.
