1- if your getting C:\Python310\python.exe' you need to go to the \desktop-waifu-master\waifu\pyvenv.cfg and change the first line to YOUR python location, how do you find that? click on the windows key and type python.exe and you'll see open file location click on that then properties and you'll find Location; copy and paste that into the first line of pyvenv.cfg delete everything that comes after C: in the first line and paste what you just copied

2-if you got it to work but your now getting Error: You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details. BTW crtl to talk, you need to upgrade your chatgpt with money you need to buy the better version its on the website

did you download it before and deleted it after ? if so then make sure you deleted everything from before and if you still have cmd running in the background and for the other error try using a different character ai or make sure you copied the right part of the https

Thing is Whisper (the app used for transcribing your voice into text) as an API require you to have a paid key from OpenAI, and not everyone have money for that. So yeah, unless our creator somehow figure out a way to make this work with the local-hosted Whisper, there's no way you gonna run this app for free. (Unless you still have that 5$ from your OpenAI newly registered account)

Well they can go here if they want to know how to run whisper locally. Whisper actually can be run locally and one of the reasons why whisper is really good since it can transcribe locally, here is the repo i used for it if your interested: https://github.com/openai/whisper
